Once we can work from anywhere, does the world need Silicon Valley?

Could the Bay Area become a concept rather than a location? Google, Facebook and Twitter are just some of the Big Tech giants who have already announced plans to allow their staff to work from home indefinitely after lockdowns end. Could this represent the end of Silicon Valley as the technology Mecca? Maybe, but veterans of the area remain sceptical. Jared Lindzon, writing in Fast Company, explores.
